Sarah Smith and Band Benefit Concert

  • The Hideout Toronto 423 College Street Toronto, ON, M5T 1T1 Canada (map)
Join us for a passionate and vibrant performance by Sarah Smith and her band and help us raise funds to support the important work of Turning Point Youth Services! Sarah Smith feels most at home on-stage, and rightfully so...she plays nearly 300 shows per year, primarily in Canada, the United States and Europe. With her confessional lyrics and emotional, yet lighthearted performance, Sarah charms audiences each and every show. Her voice is often compared to that of Bonnie Raitt, Melissa Etheridge and Janis Joplin, and we are thrilled that she will be lending it to this important cause - promoting awareness about mental health issues faced by our youth, in benefit of Turning Point Youth Services. About Turning Point Youth Services: This non-for-profit organization is an accredited, multi-service agency in our community, serving youth ages 12 to 24 and their families. They help through counselling, providing residential care and treatment (including emergency shelter), and supporting youth who are in trouble with the law. Tickets for this benefit concert (19+ event) are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. Doors open at 7:15pm | Concert begins at 8:00pm *** All proceeds from ticket sales, raffle, 50/50 draw and other contributions will be donated to Turning Point Youth Services by the event organizers *** Check out Sarah Smith's live performances
